SWITCH POKER / HOW TO PLAY
Object: The object of Switch Poker is to create as many good poker hands as possible using a single deck of 52 cards. Moving Cards: In order to move cards around, the player has to switch one card with a card next to it and each "switch" has to create a valid poker hand. To switch cards, click on the first card you want to move and then click on a card next to it. If the switch creates a valid hand, the cards will be swapped automatically. Valid Hands: A valid hand is any two or more adjacent cards that together create a pair or better hand. Valid hands may be grouped horizontally or vertically and do not have to use all five cards in a given row or column. When a valid hand has been created, the cards within that hand will be shaded a light pink. To learn more about which kind of hands are valid, see below. Cashing In: In many cases, you may have more than one hand to choose from -- or may be creating a low-value hand in order to move a card into a better position to make a high-value hand. Therefore, you may choose which hands to 'cash in' and which to leave. To cash in on a hand, click on a card within the hand and then click on the 'Cash In' button on the right of the game screen. The value of the hand will be applied to your total score. Reviewing and Uploading Game Scores: Your score for every game played during any play session will be saved for your review. To see your scores, click on the 'View Scores' button from the main game screen. To upload your top score, enter a username and click on the 'Send' button. To see the top scores for all players, click on the 'Top Scores' button. Valid Poker Hands and Scoring
